In order to be free, I closed my message box. In fact, I could not tolerate more insults to myself or to others from people with false names. I did not want someone from the network of an international media organization to write to me that my 'days' are over. Did not want to see the frothining mouth of someone, who has been made blind by ignorance and fanaticism. Did not want someone bearing the identity of BBC to be a threat to Weblogger. Did not want the freedom to be foggy and did not want to be a sweeper of those who carelessly shed their trash in my blog.
I am a human being, a free spirit, who believes and is associated with freedom. I have the right to close my message box so that I remain free. I do not want BBC to be a threat to my freedom of expression. This freedom is quite valuable to me. I have the right to write and to criticize. But I will never ever allow anyone to disrespect, humiliate and threaten me with death.
I closed my message box; a not-so-easy decision was made. It was hard, but what other alternative did I have? I have to adjust with going forward /living without my external window. Let us accept that not only kings such as Abdul-Rahman, groups such the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, people such as Sayaaf, Osama Bin Laden, Hitler, Stalin, Penoche, but a number of others too sit in dark trenches aiming at others' freedom.
Al Qaeda works to physically attack innocent people by suicide bombing But driving others to death is also the work of terror and Al Qaeda.
Weblog is a place to express and communicate with people around the world and sometimes with ones own self. Internet was not invented by Taliban or Al-Qaeda. The inventor of internet was someone who loved all other human beings, not those who target Freedom, not those who threaten other people’s life from an International Media Network.
Weblog is a corner to express and exchange ideas and suggestions, a place that where people from around the world get together, even if only to criticize each other.
I am a human being, who has the right to write and disseminate. I want to communicate and be friends with the whole world. I want to share my anguish with all Afghans currently out of the motherland no matter for whatever reasons. I want to write about myself and hear from them.
I want to write about freedom, love and pain.. I want to write about culture, literature, poetry music and art. Also about kids deprived of their right to education and schooling. Kids who find a piece of bread and are as delighted as if they had found paradise. I want to bridge the happiness of children around the world with the pity of kids in my country. I want to write about those post-September 11 kids who are still waiting for their dads to come home, about those women who are being beaten up. I want to write about those ladies who are burning themselves, about parents who have lost their kids, about hopeless and helpless widows, about the struggle against terrorism.
I would love to write about the world with no boundary, color, religion and region. I want to write for humanity.
I would love to write about people being lucky, about weeping, about loneliness and whatever I may wish to…
But I do not like someone to write a threatening death message under my article about freedom of _expression. I do not like someone to threat me to death from an international media network. I do not like the Taliban and Al-Qaida to write a message in my weblog.
